This is such an exciting time, and I’m honored you’re considering me to capture something so special.

What to Expect

Live wedding painting is more than just creating a beautiful painting - it's about creating a shared experience for you and your guests. Everyone has the chance to pick up a brush and add their own special marks to the canvas! The result is a painting filled with the love, laughter, and joy of your wedding and is a one-of-a-kind experience that will stay with you forever.

My Artistic Style

A mix of impressionism and realism. I take the dreaminess of impressionism—the way colors and light blend to bring out the romance and emotion—and combine it with the detail and authenticity of realism to capture all the little things that make your day uniquely yours.

Investment

Every live painting is fully customizable, created with the highest materials, and delivered ready to hang. All packages include live guest entertainment where your guests get to watch the painting come to life and learn how to add their own brushstrokes to the canvas! These one-of-a-kind masterpieces come in various sizes with pricing starting at $1,600 + tax and any applicable travel.

  • How much do your live paintings cost?
Most couples spend $2,000-$3,000, but my smallest package currently starts at $1,600 plus local tax and any applicable travel beyond 50 miles from West Lafayette, IN.
  • Do you offer framing services?
The gallery wrapped canvases I use have a 1.5” side profile and do not require a frame. I include wiring services with all my packages so your canvas will be ready to hang upon delivery! With that, I do not offer framing services, but you may add one in the future if you would like.
  • What kind of paint do you use?
GOLDEN Heavy Body Acrylics – professional quality acrylic paints that hold up against the test of time and defend against cracking and fading.
  • Do you travel?
Yes! Anything within 50 miles of West Lafayette, Indiana is included in all packages. For events that are further away, I apply reasonable charges for lodging and transportation (gas, airfare, and/or rental car) depending on the distance and time of the event. Please inquire with your specific location for a detailed quote just for you!
  • What do I need to supply for you at our venue?
All I need at your venue is a 5'x5' space to set up. I’ll bring everything else needed to create your masterpiece (easel, canvas, paints, brushes, lighting, power bank, etc.)!
  • What will my wedding day look like with you as my live painter?
I'll show up to your wedding a few hours early to get set up and start painting the background. After your first look or ceremony, we'll get reference photos/videos for me to work off of for the rest of the event. Guests can watch the painting unfold in real time and will have the opportunity to participate in the painting process, adding their own brushstrokes to the canvas!
  • How far in advance should I book you to be my live wedding painter?
I recommend you reach out several months to a year or more in advance, especially if your event is during peak season (May-September). If your event is much closer, I still encourage you to reach out to inquire about my availability!
  • Will I get to take my painting home with me at the end of my event?
Ideally, yes! However, you can't rush art, so if it's not finished by the end of the night, I will take it with me to finish in the studio. Then, I'll either hand-deliver it if you're close by or I'll carefully package it and ship it to you when it's complete.
  • How do guests participate in the painting process?
First, I demonstrate to each guest how they'll add their own brushstrokes to the canvas. Once they've seen how to do it, I re-load the brush with paint, hand it to the guest, and let them make their mark! I have turned countless people who've said "Oh no, I'm not an artist" into confident painters coming away saying, "Wow, that looks GOOD!"
  • What type of events are suitable for live painting?
In short - if you can dream it, we can do it. Live painting is suitable for anything from intimate backyard weddings to grand ballroom affairs.
