When it comes to capturing the beauty and emotion of your wedding day, few things are as timeless as a live wedding painting. But what does the live painting process look like? Let’s take a look behind the scenes.
The Initial Consultation
Every great work of art starts with a conversation. Before the big day, we’ll hop on a call to discuss your vision for the painting. What are the key moments you want captured? Do you envision your first kiss, the ceremony exit, or maybe a different special moment? Even if you don't know what you're looking for, I'll guide you through the process so we can find the perfect scene. We’ll talk about colors, the atmosphere, and any personal touches you’d like included, along with what it’s like to work with me and what you can expect on the day-of. This conversation is where your vision begins to take shape.
Your Wedding Blueprint
Next, I’ll send you a set of forms designed to dive deep into everything I should expect so your day runs smoothly. These forms cover specifics about your painting, your wedding day contacts (those key people I can go to with questions so you can focus on enjoying your day), and of course, logistics like floorplans and where I’ll set up. By working through these details ahead of time, we make sure that the live painting process is seamless, and I can focus entirely on creating your one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
Setting Up on Your Big Day On the day of the wedding, I’ll arrive early to set up in a spot that allows your guests to watch the painting unfold in real time and even participate in adding their own brushstrokes to the canvas!

Capturing your Moment
I’ll get reference photos of your special moment and incorporate the energy, joy, and love of your day as it happens. From the first brushstroke to the final details, I’m constantly drawing inspiration from my surroundings. There’s a certain magic in painting live; it’s fast-paced and full of emotion which makes each work of art unique to that day and couple.
The Final Masterpiece
Once the wedding is over, you’ll either be able to take the painting home with you if it’s finished or I will take the painting back to my studio for final touches, ensuring every detail is perfect. Either way, when the painting is ready, you’ll receive something beautiful that not only tells your story but also holds the love and warmth of your closest friends and family.

If you’re looking for more than just photos to remember your wedding by, consider a live wedding painting that captures your love on canvas. It’ll be a memory you'll cherish forever.
